Role Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects within budget, scope, and schedule. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven professional with strong leadership skills, capable of coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, schedules, and resource allocation.
Oversee all phases of project execution, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their requirements and ensuring satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to maintain effective communication.
Financial Oversight
Monitor project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial performance aligns with expectations.
Prepare and present financial and progress reports to senior management and clients.
Team Leadership
Lead and coordinate project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and excellence.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to support their professional development.
Risk Management
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
Continuous Improvement
Capture lessons learned and implement process improvements to enhance future project delivery.
Promote the use of innovative technologies and methodologies to optimize efficiency and outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
Proven track record of managing complex projects, preferably in the energy, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.
Experience in onshore and offshore environments is highly desirable.
Certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
Relevant health and safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are a plus.
Skills:
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and forecast effectively.
