Project Manager – Energy & Industrial Services
📍Location: Montrose (with regular travel to Aberdeen, project sites, and offshore locations)
💰 Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 base + performance-linked bonus

About the Role
N-ERGISE delivers specialist services across offshore wind, oil & gas, and wider industrial energy markets, operating in fabrication yards, offshore environments, and live operational sites.
We are seeking a commercially strong Project Manager to take ownership of projects from award through to close-out, ensuring work is properly planned, commercially controlled, and delivered to contract, programme, and margin.
This is a site-led, delivery-focused role with real responsibility and visibility. It is not a PMO or desk-based position.
Technical delivery is supported by a dedicated Coatings & Rope Access Manager. Your focus will be planning, cost control, pricing, and client delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage projects across energy and industrial sectors from award to completion
Develop and control project programmes, labour plans, and execution strategies
Ensure contractual deliverables are clearly defined, tracked, and achieved
Maintain robust cost control, forecasting, and cost-to-complete reporting
Manage variations, additional works, and change control in line with contract terms
Support pricing of new works, extensions, RFQs, and ITTs
Act as primary client interface during project delivery
Ensure compliance with contract requirements, client specifications, and relevant industry standards
Travel regularly to fabrication yards, operational sites, and offshore locations as required
What We’re Looking For
Essential
Proven Project Management experience within energy or industrial services
Strong capability in project planning, cost control, and contract delivery
Commercial awareness, with experience managing variations and additional works
Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with clients, site teams, and suppliers
Willing and able to work on site and offshore as required
Desirable
Experience within offshore wind, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects
Engineering qualification (degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent technical discipline)
Experience contributing to pricing for RFQs, ITTs, or framework work
Exposure to multi-discipline scopes (e.g. coatings, rope access, scaffolding, industrial services)
