A Moment of Reflection and Respect

At 11:00 am, a two-minute silence is observed across the nation to reflect on the courage and selflessness of those who gave their lives in the pursuit of freedom and peace.

Honouring Service and Sacrifice
Known also as Armistice Day or Poppy Day, Remembrance Day marks the end of World War I in 1918, when the guns fell silent on the Western Front.
The poppy, now a global symbol of remembrance, reminds us of the resilience, courage, and enduring spirit of those who served.
