Main Purpose of the Role
To support the effective coordination and control of materials, plant, and equipment across all operations.
This role is designed to assist the Materials Coordinator and wider operations team in managing increasing operational demands, ensuring that materials and assets are available, compliant, and prepared in line with project requirements.

Responsible for:
Supporting the control of company materials, plant, equipment, and stores environments
Liaison with:
Projects, Procurement, HSEQ, Resource Coordination, Suppliers, and wider business stakeholders
Key Accountabilities
• Support the maintenance of accurate, real-time asset data within the company asset management system (Papertrail)
• Assist in ensuring project-critical equipment is available and mobilisation-ready
• Support compliance by ensuring equipment is not deployed out of certification
• Assist with the timely mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment and materials
• Maintain a well-organised and efficient stores and yard environment
• Support operational teams to help ensure project deadlines are met
Core Responsibilities
1. Asset & Equipment Management
• Support the upkeep and accuracy of asset records within Papertrail
• Assist in tracking asset location, status, and certification across projects
• Monitor certification and inspection dates and escalate where required
• Maintain asset registers, inspection records, and certification logs
• Support audit readiness by ensuring records are accessible and accurate
• Assist in ensuring all equipment is fit for purpose prior to deployment
2. Materials & Stores Management
• Assist with receiving, logging, storing, and controlling materials
• Maintain accurate inventory records and material manifests
• Ensure stores and yard areas are kept organised, safe, and efficient
• Support stock checks and inventory control processes
• Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items
3. Mobilisation & Logistics Support
• Support preparation, packing, and dispatch of equipment and materials
• Assist in ensuring equipment is prepared in line with project requirements
• Support mobilisation activities for both onshore and offshore operations
• Work to mobilisation schedules and support delivery deadlines
• Liaise with Resource Coordination to assist with PPE and technician equipment readiness
• Support demobilisation, returns, and asset reconciliation
4. Compliance & HSEQ Support
• Support compliance with LOLER, PUWER, and relevant certification standards
• Assist in preventing the use of non-compliant or uncertified equipment
• Report HSEQ concerns relating to materials, equipment, or stores
• Support internal and external audits as required
5. Operational Support & Continuous Improvement
• Work closely with Projects and Operations to support efficient delivery
• Assist in identifying improvements in materials handling and asset tracking
• Maintain high standards across stores, yard, and working areas
• Support general operational and yard activities as required
Skills, Experience & Requirements
Essential:
• Computer literate with confidence using digital systems
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and ability to work across teams
Desirable:
• Experience in a stores, warehouse, logistics, or materials environment
• Exposure to engineering, construction, offshore wind, or industrial sectors
• Familiarity with asset tracking or inventory systems (e.g. Papertrail)
• Basic Excel skills for tracking and reporting
• Understanding of equipment handling, certification, or logistics processes
