Main purpose of job: Responsible for supporting Project Engineer with technical support, documentation and implementation required for onshore and offshore projects, workshop coordination and offshore projects coordination.
Relationships: Responsible to: Head of Projects.
Liaison with: All company stakeholders.
Main tasks of job:
To provide technical support to both onshore and offshore projects under guidance from the Project Engineer and Head of Projects.
Assist in the creation of work-packs for offshore projects.
Ensure that all procedures and specifications are adhered to and all related documentation completed to enable job completion handover.
Ensure all materials and equipment meet company and client procedural/ specification requirements.
Attend project planning meetings and record minutes of meeting.
Ensure works are carried out safely in accordance with company procedures and method statements adhered to.
Implement and maintain project time keeping and attendance records as per company guidelines.
To alert the Project Supervisor/ Systems Manager/ Resource Coordinator of any potential problems or issues related to health, safety, the environment or quality within their team, area of work, or in connection with the project in general.
To recognise and abide by company procedures and statutory acts, including the Quality Management System, the Health & Safety Policy, and company emergency and evacuation procedures.
Attend any Training or Competency Assessment that the company determines necessary to improve performance.
To attend client sites and assist with site surveys and scope.
Assist in the completion of tenders and sub supplying costs.
Assist in the revisions at both tender and contract award stages.
Qualifications:
HND or equivalent in Engineering as a minimum.
