Title: Head of Wind O&M
Job Description
N-ERGISE has an exciting opportunity to head up and develop a new service division within N-ERGISE, joining the expanding team with the opportunity to work primarily within the Renewables/Wind sector with projects based in the UK and overseas.
Main tasks of job:
Responsible for setting up and developing new Turbine O&M division at N-ERGISE.
Pursue and build new client relationships within the Turbine O&M market.
Generate tender enquiries within the Turbine O&M market.
Provide technical review input during tender phase.
Work with procurement dept. to expand current supplier database to meet the requirements of Turbine O&M market.
Develop and implement new company procedures required to meet industry requirements of Turbine O&M.
Responsible for ensuring that all procurement, engineering and construction activities for the project are completed within contractual, statutory, safety and quality requirements.
Monitor and Plan manning levels for your department to keep to deadlines contained within work instructions by liaison with the Resource Coordinator
Advise Resource dept. on technical requirements of upcoming projects.
Ensure all Employees under your control are working within the guidelines of the employee rules handbook and their main terms of employment, job description, HSE requirements and Quality Standards, maintain a log of any bad practices and advise HR of any requested disciplinary action to any employees found working outside of the required standards.
Provide technical input to the development of Turbine O&M Job Cards and RAMs.
Manage department budget and forecast costs.
Liaise with clients regularly for feedback on ongoing projects and act upon changes required to meet client’s requirements.
Provide company presentations of Turbine O&M capabilities to potential clients
Develop Turbine O&M division strategy with senior management and Director.
Review and provide comment to senior management on client service contracts.
Requirements:
Offshore wind experience would be essential
Direct experience working with or alongside the industry major Turbine OEM companies.
Technical understanding of turbines
Strong client facing skillset
Flexibility to travel
Experience with AutoCAD a plus but not essential
Proficient with Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Qualifications:
HND or higher in Engineering would be desirable
Formal Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, MSP, CAPM, PMP would be advantageous
In date offshore certificates would be desirable
